I’ve always been drawn to the boundary of what a vessel can be — where it stops being just a bowl or vase and becomes something almost alive. This piece lives in that in-between space: part sculpture, part container, part part echo of the natural world reclaiming the man-made.
Vine Vessel is handcrafted from high-quality stoneware clay, and finished with ceramic glazes and stains. The body of the vessel is coated in a glossy white glaze, while a brown stain wash accentuates the organic texture of the entwined vines.
